RE:                     Appointments, and Open-listed Parishes announced today by Archbishop Niederauer

 

At Archbishop Niederauer’s request, I wish to inform you that appointments have been confirmed at two parishes of the Archdiocese, and will become effective July 1, 2010:

Pastors
Reverend William E. Brown             Saint Hilary Church, Tiburon
Reverend Paul Warren                     Saint Stephen Church, San Francisco

 The Archbishop has also asked that I announce that the parishes, below, are now being open-listed, joining Saint John the Evangelist Church, San Francisco; Saint John of God Church, San Francisco; Saint Thomas the Apostle Church, San Francisco; and Star of the Sea Church, San Francisco, which were open-listed earlier this winter.
 

Open Pastorates

 Our Lady of Mercy Church, Daly City

Sacred Heart Church, Olema; and Saint Mary Magdalene, Bolinas
 (Archbishop Niederauer has accepted Father John J. O’Neill’s request for retirement)

Saint Teresa Church, San Francisco
                 

Priests of the Archdiocese of San Francisco interested in applying for these newly open-listed pastorates are asked to send a letter to Archbishop Niederauer, copying the Priest Personnel Board.  Your correspondence should be received by Thursday morning, March 18, 2010.
