Mass of Confirmation, 2003

On Sunday, February 23, 2003, The Most Reverend John C. Wester, Auxiliary Bishop of San Francisco, will return to his alma mater to administer the Sacrament of Confirmation to 70 young members of our parish family during a special 4:00 p.m. Mass.

Bishop Wester, who grew up here in Westlake and was graduated from Our Lady of Mercy Parochial School, will meet with the 8th graders from our School of Religion and Parish School before the liturgy, and will also have the chance to visit with them and their families right after Mass.

Please keep our teens and their loved ones in your prayer as they make this important step in becoming full-fledged members of the Catholic Church!
