Christmas teaches us to accept the trivialities, the messiness of life as a source of Joy. The story of Mary and Joseph, the manger and straw in a humble stable, the shepherds, and the wisemen, is a lesson wrapped up in the birth of the baby Jesus.
The heavens were opened and the angels sang "Glory to God in the highest, and peace to all people of goodwill."
Joy is found in embracing life exactly as it presents itself. For all the efforts we do in preparing ourselves for this most wonderful season of the year, let us reflect on the benefits that our labor has brought us to each other. As we sing the song the angels sang 2000 years ago, we may open the heavenly gate and from there, flood the earth with the joy and beauty of Peace and Love.
Merry Christmas to all! Thank you for all the generosity and support you have given to this Parish. Happy New Year Too!
